Red Ribbon Week 2013: A Healthy Me Is Drug Free!

CTE participated in Red Ribbon week along with schools all over the country. Along with several great discussions, videos, and projects-Mrs. Halloran's class enjoyed the special daily themes that the school encouraged to raise Drug Awareness. Our class knows that "A Healthy Me Is Drug Free!"

Golden Horseshoe Award!!!

Mrs. Halloran's class earned their first Golden Horseshoe for the year. Not to mention they were the FIRST class at CTE to earn this reward. Mrs. H's students have demonstrated exemplary behavior all over campus and have earned smaller silver horseshoes, once they reached 25 of those we earn a large Golden Horseshoe (along with a Popsicle party!!). Mrs. Inagawa surprised everyone by announcing it on the morning announcements and then delivering it to us in person after the show. The class was SOOO excited about this. These students continue to show exemplary behavior and are working hard to earn their next Golden Horseshoe.

Math-tastic!

Our math can be pretty tough at times. Pulling out lots of strategies helps us find different ways for it to click and make sense. Even if it means stopping to put on a show and acing it out :)
