iRead with iPod Touch

Mrs. Halloran wrote a grant and was very excited when suprise visitors showed up in her classroom one morning to let her know it was approved. I will be purchasing a set of iPod Touch devices for our classroom to use as a literacy center and supplement our classroom computers. They will help students at all different ability levels show learning gains in a fun and enticing way! Students will be able to practice their letter and sound knowledge as well as sight word and reading fluency. I know the students are so excited to get them in, but I think I am even more excited to see them want to practice and increase their abilities through the use of FUN technology....iPod Touch!!!
