Up Up and AWAY!!!!!

Avon Elementary enjoyed a visit from a hot air balloon team. The whole school met first thing in the morning on the black top and watched a beautiful balloon completely fill with hot air and rise up in the air....with our Principal Mrs. Burnham on board!!!!! Such an amazing sight to see for teachers and students alike.
The principals came on morning announcements during breakfast to tell of the big surprise!!!!!
The whole school gathered on the black top!

Kids were so excited, eyes were glued and they kept giggling and yelling..."awe...COOL!!!"

There goes Mrs. Burnham (Mrs. Halloran was so jealous!!!) :)

Parent's are the BEST!!!! Thanks for coming to Kindergarten parent night. I know it is A LOT of information to absorb but we are in this year TOGETHER!!!!! Please feel free to e mail me ANY TIME or write a note with questions or concerns. It is always great to hear good things too! :) I appreciate your support so much. We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned for the year but we also have a lot of important things to learn and master.
