Field Trip to the Fire House!

In October Kindergarten made the trip to the fire station in town. They LOVED walking through the living quarters seeing where the firemen slept when on duty. (They especially liked the X Box game system set up! ) The firemen showed the parts of the truck and how to use the jaws of life. Of course the sirens were sounded out loud and each child got to hold the hose (the firemen helped them and aim and try to wet cars in the parking lot across the street :)! The afternoon was spent at Pioneer Park where we got to see a few animals before we got trapped under a pavilion during a torrential down pour. Though under a roof, we still got soaked!!!! The kids were GREAT sports about it, no one complained, I was impressed! Everyone was safe and had a great time and that's what matters!!!

*On the bus and SOOOO excited!!!!
